School Council visits Parliament
On Tuesday 14th April, Mrs Weston took the school council to the Houses of Parliament. The children behaved impeccably and were fantastic ambassadors for our school. The children enjoyed their tour around the Houses of Parliament, visiting the House of Lords and Westminster Hall. They were then very lucky to be able to watch a debate from the viewing gallery in the House of Commons. After the tour the children took part in a workshop, learning more about the House of Lords and House of Commons. Our day finished with a talk from our local MP – Bambos Charalambous, who was very impressed with all the children. A big thank you to all the parent helpers who made this trip such a success!
