Cross Country Competition at Forty Hall
Lots of children from Years 5 & 6 trialled for the inter-school cross country competition that took place at Forty Hall on Friday 11th October. We were able to take five boys and five girls to participate. Congratulations to Eirinn, Paloma, Florence, Aoife, Chloe, Ethan, Dougie, Luca, Finnan and Senan who represented St Monica’s. It was a beautiful sunny day for the runners; 30 schools in total took part with over 120 boys and 120 girls in each race. Luca did particularly well coming 20th with the boys and the girls collectively came second place overall, so were delighted to be awarded well deserved medals! Congratulations to them all!
