Eco-Warriors
At St Monica’s, Mrs Warrington leads our Eco-Council, inspiring pupils to become responsible stewards of God’s creation. Children from Key Stage 2 are invited to join the committee and work together to explore environmental issues, promote sustainability and encourage positive change across the school community. The Eco-Council takes an active role in developing initiatives such as reducing waste, saving energy, promoting recycling and enhancing our school environment. Through regular meetings, pupil voice activities and awareness campaigns, members develop leadership skills while helping others understand the importance of caring for our common home. Guided by our Catholic values, the Eco-Council empowers children to make a difference both within school and in the wider world.
